English football referee Howard Webb resorted to Wikipedia in order to get into one of the bars of the United States. It is reported by The Sun.
According to the publication, the guards at the entrance didn’t let the 48-year-old judge, as he is in possession of the identity card. To get to the bar the Englishman could once showed his page in Wikipedia.
Webb holds the record for the number of yellow cards shown in the world Cup finals. Webb from 2003 to 2014 he judged the matches of the English Premier League (EPL). At the moment he works in US and helps to implement a system of videophones arbitrators (VAR).
In February 2018 football player Barkley Miguel Pans provided false information from «Wikipedia» to sign a contract with the Lithuanian club «panevėžys». On the player page it was said that he played for the «CRC», although in reality this never happened.
